Factors associated with adherence to Covid-19 preventive measures among health-care workers in Eswatini
Abstract
Worldwide, coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) created major challenges, becoming a public health emergency and threatening lives; with healthcare workers (HCWs) at an even higher risk of infection due to their occupation. Adherence to recommended preventive measures is a major approach in controlling transmissible diseases like COVID-19. Regardless of repeated consensus that adhering to non-pharmaceutical preventive strategies is of paramount significance in controlling the spread of COVID-19, HCWs’ risk perception and poor compliance to COVID-19 preventive measures remain a global challenge.
