dc.description.abstractThe aim of professional development is to enhance teaching and learning. Reflection is a valuable way of developing professionally. However, teachers may need support and feedback on a regular basis to reflect on their own practice to develop and enhance on a professional level. This study explored how Video-Stimulated Recall (VSR) could support mathematics teachers to develop professionally. The aim was to investigate the extent to which teachers’ use of VSR as a reflective practice tool, enhance their professional development as individuals and as a group in selected South African primary schools. The study sought to explore the following research question regarding mathematics teachers' professional development: to what extent did the teachers’ use of VSR as a reflective practice tool, enhance their professional development as individuals and as a group in selected South African primary schools?en_US
