This minithesis is concerned with the nature of resistance education in South Africa. During the 1985-1989 period in South Africa , the notion of People's Education for People's Power enjoyed prominence on the national agenda of both the ruling Nationa.list government , the liberation forces opposing the status quo , and civil society in general. Resistance education , ds reflected in the People's Education for People's Power initiative , raised many issues and questions as to the nature of education in South Africa.
