dc.description.abstractBlock 1, Orange Basin is located offshore west coast South Africa. This study is focused on providing a solution to performing reservoir characterization in areas where well data is scanty by generating reservoir models using genetic inversion. The study area is represented by the extent of a 1500 km squared 3D seismic survey which is intersected by one well.
