dc.description.abstract	The study dealt with one multi-site craft based poverty alleviation programme at the Greater Stellenbosch Development Trust and aimed to assess the business skills training needs of its participants. A literature review was undertaken which mainly focused on issues such as Poverty, Unemployment, Training, Craft, Skills Development, SMMEs and Gender.
