The influence of psychological capital on organisational citizenship behaviour, organisational commitment and intention to quit among selected local municipality employees in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
Abstract
In the light of understanding the strong need for organisations to look beyond the stable individual
dispositions and the focus on the ability to respond quickly to disruptive situations with a positive
mental state comprising hope, optimism, self-efficacy and resilience. The purpose of the present
study was to explore how psychological capital influences organisational citizenship behaviour,
organisational commitment and intention to quit.
